Dudley Olson began selling millwork in 1976 and continues to offer design experience and product recommendations to builders and re modelers throughout the Twin City area.
Tony Braga joined DMI in 2003 and brings our clients his expertise in project management, service coordination and product knowledge.
Today, the mission of DMI is to serve our customers with our hands-on building and remodeling experience; to offer wise selection guidance; and to provide the very best service in the Twin Cities’ market.
Olson finds that listening to his builder clients and supplying them with the products they want to use is key. “You have to listen and supply what they want to buy, not what we want to sell them,” he added. And since the larger builder operates differently than the smaller builder, Olson can custom tailor his packages to each builder’s needs. Fast turnaround is crucial to the builder, so Dudley’s Millwork puts a premium on fast delivery. “When the trim carpenter or builder makes a change, they don’t have three days to wait; they need it that afternoon or the next morning.”
Operations Manager Tony Braga and Olson are available at all times for their clients. “There’s always someone here in the office or by phone to speak with,” Olson added. “More than anything, you have to pay attention to detail. We might have 12 trips to a job site, and the last one is as important as the first one. Our vendors know we will only accept top quality material, and if it’s not up to our standards, we will send it back.” Olson is grateful to his trade partners who have helped Dudley’s Millwork, Inc., become millwork specialists. “We are thankful for their business and hope to be part of their success as well.”
