• Select moulding's that are proportional to the room. For example, rooms with 8’ foot ceilings work well with 2-1/4” casing and 3-1/4” base
• As your ceiling rises, increase the casing to 3-1/4” and the base to 4-1/4” or 5-1/4”
• Casing should be 1/16” to 1/8” thicker than the base.
• If painting moulding's we recommend using poplar or finger jointed poplar which has a smooth consistent grain.
